Most family households today look like whirling dervishes or a pack of Tasmanian devils are racing to get out the door for a busy day of work, school and other activities.
Most often, in the chaos, parents make breakfast for the kids and worry about themselves later. While we all know it’s true, breakfast is the most important meal of the day, it’s also easy to skip.
One solution is to find a favorite smoothie recipe for the entire household to enjoy. Smoothies can be a quick way to get a healthy start, plus they’re portable.
Another bonus, you and your family can get creative, and come up with a signature combination of fruit, yogurt, milk, veggies, nuts, etc. to make everyone happy. Place all ingredients and ice in the blender, mix until smooth, pour and serve.
