Momologie is brought to you by the "MiGi Girls", Michele Adams and Gia Russo. The Girls met at Martha Stewart Living when the company was small, yet growing rapidly into a media empire—television, magazines, Internet, books and then products. They were fortunate to have the opportunity to be involved in designing product lines, developing stories for the magazine, producing segments for the television show, etc. Everything they learned during those busy years became the foundation of their business.
When Michele & Gia discovered they were both moving to Los Angeles, they started talking about their plans and had similar ideas about what they wanted to do. They knew their passion for entertaining and home life would make a great business and could take them in many directions, but they had no idea how big it would become. The MiGi philosophy of embracing personal style in a way that is comfortable and affordable had quickly made it a successful brand.
Michele & Gia are very realistic, and present a fresh and approachable style to everyday living. You'd imagine they have it all together since they are lifestyle experts, but they'll be the first to admit to having learned a lot from their mistakes. As moms to very young boys, they know the only rule is to remain flexible for their families. To them, Momologie is a resource that is practical, smart and credible so that every mom, no matter what her life is like, will find it useful.
Why Momologie?
Michele & Gia admit that even though they've built their careers on good taste and practical advice, they still need lots of help to keep things running smoothly. Every day, they rely on the advice of friends, neighbors and family, and spend as much time as any mom trying to find answers to all of their questions online. Yet they have not found that one resource that feels like a reliable best friend.
With Momologie, the goal is to provide a resource that speaks to moms across America every day and fits into their busy lives in a way that is satisfying and keeps them coming back. There is a ton of juggling that happens in a home, and Michele & Gia are determined to make family life fun and guilt free for moms because we deserve to feel good about what we're doing. In the end, a happy mom is a better mom, and every mom needs a best friend to lean on (even if it is a daily e-mail.)
